Baroque violin and viola player
In addition to regular academic studies, Sebastiano Airoldi soon became interested in early music, specializing in baroque violin under the guidance of Enrico Gatti.
This circumstance has given him the opportunity to play under the direction of international specialists such as G. Leonhardt, A. De Marchi, A. Curtis etc..
He has worked with leading Italian violinists such as E. Gatti, L. Mangiocavallo, E. Parizzi, E. Onofri, etc.. strictly in chamber music formations.
His activity of instrumentalist has always been associated to the didactic activity: Sebastiano Airoldi has started teaching even before he graduated, and is now regular professor at the Conservatory of Parma.
